History Of The House
It all began with the opening of six bowling alleys and the chimney parlour with seats for 50 persons in 1974 by Artur Joanni and his family. In 1978, the house was largely extended by building the ballroom and „Brunnenstüble“, now Fonte. Along with the advent of the next generation, Claudia and Frank Joanni, the first 35 comfort hotel rooms were finished. In 1995, the third story of our hotel buiding was turned into a conference center, building three seminar rooms and two offices. In 2002 Artur retired, handing the business over to the next generation.
In the year 2007 our alpine restaurant with mountain hut was inaugurated. The juniors and the senior gathered together orginal wood interior from all over the Allgäu for over a year. Under the command of Artur – 76 at the time – the mountain hut was established, with lots of passion for detail. The official opening took place in the fall of 2007, after nine months of work. In 2008, the building of the second section of the hotel was started and finished in 2013. By now we have 60 cozy, rustic-styled rooms available which offer mountain hut ambience as well as all modern conveniences such as shower/bath, WC, hairdryer, make-up mirror, work area, reader’s corner, flat screen TV, sound-insulating windows, coffee/tea maker and free WiFi throughout the building.
Gastronomy
For 40 years our family serves and pleases, along with our employees, numerous hotel, restaurant and conference guests. Should you be interested in a birthday or wedding party or one of our culinaric events such as bruch, candlelight dinner, romantic night, Italian evening, Italian night, fondue dinner or mountain hut evening, please have a closer look at our information point at the entrance. Our service and reception staff will gladly answer all your requests. Additional arrangements will be required for questions concerning the menu.
Our kitchen
We represent the plain, homemade kitchen of our region and calculate at a fair value for money. We cook simple, plain and tasty. For that reason we are known for and popular among customers far and near. We process, whenever possible, products from the alpine region. We attach great performance to the processing of our food, as we and all our staff eat it ourselves everyday. Best quality is always guaranteed in our house!
